Osage Orange Grove Along Seguine Avenue

The Osage oranges growing along the length of Seguine Avenue from Hylan Boulevard, stand on the property of Staten Island University Hospital. They are considered the finest collection of Osage oranges in the city. Osage oranges are a northern vestige of plantation-style landscaping, reminiscent of the deep south.
