In honor of the annual Chinese Lunar New Year celebration, Sunset Recreation Center is kicking off the year of the rat with performances, raffles, giveaways, prizes, games, etc.
at Grand Street (in Sara D. Roosevelt Park), Manhattan

Celebrate Lunar New Year at the Firecracker Ceremony and Cultural Festival! There will be live performances, including singing and dancing, and vendors.
at Building P (in Snug Harbor Cultural Center), Staten Island

You and your family will enjoy treats, tales, and traditional crafts as part of one of the biggest cultural celebrations in the world.

Staten Island OutLOUD celebrates the Chinese New Year with poetry and maybe a little prose to honor the Year of the Rat.
