Arts, Culture & Fun Series

guests dance at an outdoor dance class and open dance event at a waterfront park

Arts, Culture & Fun is committed to making the arts accessible by offering events that are free and open to the public in NYC Parks recreation centers and parks across the five boroughs. Arts, Culture & Fun captures the essence of the city with all of its diversity, sophistication, and innovation.

Through Arts, Culture & Fun programs, you can look up to the sky through telescopes from rooftops and parks at the "Dark Night, Bright Lights" series in partnership with the Amateur Astronomers Association and the Urban Park Rangers; learn how to swing, salsa, and tango in our dance series "Dance Away the Night"; try your hand at an artistic pursuit in our art workshop series "Make Your Mark"; join inspirational talks and workshops at the "Inspire You and Conversation Series"; and so much more!

Arts, Culture & Fun at the Lenape Gallery

Visit the Lenape Gallery at the Conference House Visitor Center to check out our new Arts, Culture & Fun exhibit, Occupied Sites: A Look at Staten Island's Prehistory. This project locates, intervenes, and reveals sites that have been destroyed - seeking to make visible a history that has been erased from the land. On view through January 27, 2018.
