A healthy urban forest is essential for a healthy city—providing critical habitat for wildlife, cleaning our air and water, cooling our neighborhoods, and improving our health and wellbeing. Learn more about the trees that live on the Wyckoff Farm and surrounding park space. Farmhouse Family Day is from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the City of Forest Day activity beginning at 1:00 p.m.

What to expect on your visit:

  • Farmhouse Family Day is free and open to all ages, ideal for children ages 4-10.
  • The City of Forest Day activity will begin at 1:00 p.m.
  • Farm activities (i.e. harvesting, weeding) begin at noon. Make sure to wear close-toed shoes and prepare to get dirty.

Other things to do while you are here:

  • Visit our Farmstand for farm-fresh fruits and veggies from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (final farmstand on 10/29).
  • Drop off food scraps for compost.
  • We recommend using the restroom before your arrival. There is one port-o-san on the property.
