GrowTogether with us for Earth Week at Part 2 of the 38th Annual GreenThumb GrowTogether Conference! In this workshop, attendees will learn some of the basics of tree identification (branches, buds, leaves), some of the most common street and parks trees in New York City, as well as basic tree biology, to care for trees in or nearby their garden space.

Facilitated by Will Thomson, Agri-Environmental/Urban Design Forum. Will Thomson is a certified consulting arborist, landscape designer, and green roof professional and holds an MSc in Environmental Science and Ecosystems Management from the American University of Beirut. Since starting a small farm in his home state of New Mexico, he has held a passion for food justice, creating sustainable ecosystems and developing spaces that produce healthy environments and communities.

Tickets will be available until two days before the event. This will allow us time to prepare for the attendees who have registered in advance. Walk-ins are welcome to attend and observe, but supplies aren't guaranteed.
