Volunteer with the Stewardship Team to plant trees in the forest of Goodhue Park! Trees provide so many benefits to New Yorkers such as improved air and water quality, reduced pollution, and lower energy costs.
Volunteers will be trained in proper planting techniques and if time allows, they will also help us install tree guards. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants, and clothing that can get dirty. Please be sure to wear a face mask and bring your own water bottle to this event.
Groups larger than 10, please contact maria.amin@parks.nyc.gov before registering.
This project is partially funded by a grant from the 2016 NYSDEC Hudson River Estuary Program.
