Volunteer at Mulchfest: Street Tree Stewardship - Astoria

The Stewardship Team and your friendly neighborhood Super Stewards are looking for volunteers to help spread mulch (generated during Mulchfest) around young trees. Mulch provides insulation and protection for our trees during cold winter weather. Volunteers will weed, aerate, cultivate, and spread mulch around these trees.

Volunteers should dress in clothes that can get dirty and closed-toed shoes. Please be sure to wear a face mask and bring your own water bottle to this event.

Please note: Space is limited and registration is required. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone.
