Songbirds and Raptors: to Moses Mountain

Join us as we hike along the Blue Trail, then up to Moses Mountain in search of the last remaining fall migrant birds.

Maximum of 10 people per session. All COVID-19 social distancing and face covering protocols will be followed.

Registration: By registering for this event, you confirm that you have read our COVID-19 precautions and media consent. The event is free but registration is required.

Gear: Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, long, light colored pants are preferred. Closed-toe shoes (sneakers or boots) are required. Please bring water, sunscreen, and insect repellent.

Cancellation: This program may be cancelled if registration is too low, or if there is inclement weather predicted on the day of the event. Please ensure that we have your correct information so that we can contact you in the event of a cancellation. As we receive cancellations, names will be added from the waitlist. If you know you will be unable to attend, please cancel your registration by emailing or calling (718) 351-3450 ext. 0, so we can fill the reservation.

Media Consent: By registering for this program, you are agreeing to have your image used in promotional materials by the Greenbelt Conservancy, including but not limited to, photographs and video. If you choose not to give consent, please let us know by emailing us at before the event.

Covid-19 Precautions:

- All visitors and staff must wear a mask during the entire event.

- Masks and hand sanitizer will be available.

- All equipment will be sanitized before and after the event (will be included if we are using equipment).

- By participating in this event you are acknowledging that you and your guests have not experienced a fever, not tested positive for COVID-19, have not been exposed to anyone with COVID-19 or traveled to a restricted state within 14 days of the event.
