This virtual panel event has been rescheduled from the 2020 GreenThumb GrowTogether conference, and is now part of United Nations World Environment Day 2020.
The NYC EcoFlora Project engages New Yorkers in protecting and preserving the city’s native plant species. We will discuss ways gardeners can be citizen scientists, observing and collecting information about the city’s plants and their relationships with other organisms, such as birds, insects, and mushrooms. In this workshop, we will discuss the ways the EcoFlora Project can be helpful to community gardeners and how gardeners can get involved.
Facilitated by Brian Boom and Daniel Atha (New York Botanical Garden).
Please RSVP here. We will email registrants the link to join the webinar 2 days before the event, and again 30 minutes before the event. Please check your email for webinar details.
