Please note: This event has already taken place. Please use the Search options on the right to find upcoming events.

The kids are out of school, now get them out of the house. Head to the park and join the Urban Park Rangers' free Kids Week programs. Immerse your kids, and yourself, in the natural world. All are welcome, but programs are geared for ages 12 and younger.

From its ancient bedrock to fault zones that cut across the city to its geographic position at the edge of a glacier, the geologic history of the city can be found in its parks.

Join the Urban Park Rangers for a look into how geology influenced the landscape and design of New York City's Central Park.
