Fall Bird Walk for Beginners

Walk through Alley Pond Environmental Center’s trails, accompanied by a member of Queens County Bird Club. Learn to view and listen to our various species of birds. Learn to use binoculars and a field guide. 

Wear hiking shoes, sneakers, or other closed-toed shoes that you won’t mind getting muddy. Bring binoculars if you have them.  

This walk will cover some rough terrain and is not suitable for persons with limited mobility. 

Ages 8 and up (children must be accompanied by adult)
