Saturday Sculpture Workshop: Andean Culture and Crafting

Teaching Artist: Carlos Jiménez Cahua, 2018 Socrates Artist Fellow. Learn more about his project Hatun Rumiyoc, etc for The Socrates Annual exhibition.

Engage with pre-Hispanic Andean culture (specifically from Inca and Chavin civilizations) through crafting, including tunics worn by civil servants and face-painting based on head carvings from an important archaeological site.

This event will take place in STICKS at Socrates Sculpture Park.
