2019 Central Park Conservancy Film Festival Presents: Black Panther

Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the magic of the movies under the stars at the 19th annual Central Park Conservancy Film Festival, a beloved summer tradition. Sponsored by EY, the 2019 Film Festival features a sci-fi classic, a beloved romantic comedy, and an acclaimed superhero movie. Films are free of charge; no tickets are required. On August 15, we will be showing Black Panther (PG-13).

Black Panther
A superhero known as Black Panther defends Wakanda, a technologically-advanced country in Africa that has hidden itself away from the rest of the world. Now, he must face a dissident who wants to sell the country's natural resources to fund an uprising.

Gates open at 6:30 pm. Films begin at dusk.

All movies are open captioned.

To ensure that everyone can enjoy the films, the following are not permitted: alcoholic beverages, glass bottles, chairs, video cameras, and tape recorders.

Event is subject to cancellation due to weather.
