Make a difference in your community by supporting a park or playground near you. Gain a refresher on working with NYC Parks. At this introductory workshop, learn what you can do for your neighborhood green spaces and how Partnerships for Parks can help. Meet staff that can connect you to hands-on trainings, grants of up to $3,000, free tools to clean up your park, and opportunities to volunteer with your company or school. Enjoy a complimentary dinner and get plugged into NYC’s expansive network of community park groups.

  • Who you need to know in NYC Parks
  • How you can beautify your neighborhood with an “It’s My Park” project
  • Resources like grants and community visioning
  • Examples of how volunteers can contribute to vibrant, thriving parks
