Harlem 100 Quilting Residency

Come join us for our first of many activities honoring the 100th anniversary of the Harlem Renaissance!

We are starting off with quilting classes, taught by premier African-American quilter/fiber artist Ife Felix, which will honor various luminaries of the Harlem Renaissance, with a focus on those who lived in the neighborhood surrounding Morris-Jumel Mansion.

Classes are held every Tuesday through June 25, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., ending in a community presentation of the work.

Cost: $80 / $70 students/members/seniors.

A one-time materials fee of $10 per participant will be included in the cost of your first ticket. Limited to 15 people per class. Please contact communityoutreach@morrisjumel.org for further information.
