Reconnect with the earth – and your neighbors – this April Family Day at the Wyckoff House, where we will be learning how to care for plants and trees in honor of Earth Day. Arrive early to receive a tree from the New York Restoration Project as we host their annual Tree Giveaway.

Afterward, families can explore our historic farm and create a seed art activity, and join us for a special community seed exchange: we’ll be welcoming seeds from your garden that we can grow as well as offering seeds from our farm to take home.

Explore our historic farmhouse and garden, try your hand at historic toys and games, and scavenger hunts will be available.

Family Day is always to the public and open to visitors of all ages. The Tree Giveaway begins at 11:00 a.m. and the seed art activity will take place at 1:00 p.m.

Please note: Reservations for Family Day not required, but registration is recommended. Please register online (required) to take home a free tree.
