Join author Victoria Johnson for a discussion of her new book, American Eden, covering the untold story of the personal physician of adversaries Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr, David Hosack, whose dream to build the nation’s first botanical garden inspired the young republic. American Eden will be available for sale in the QBG Gift Shop. Get your copy signed by the author at the end of the event!

Registration required. Drop-ins welcome upon availability.

– Saturday, April 6, join us for the Herbal Kitchen Workshop from 11am to 1pm ($20-30; registration required);
– a seasonal tour of QBG’s Herb Garden will take place 1 to 2pm (included with Garden admission; drop-in);
– visit the Visitor & Administration Building Gallery to see “In Full Bloom,” featuring three artists presenting work inspired by the shape and form of flowers and bodies in nature.
