Year of the Pig Community Art Project

Make your mark in this community art project celebrating Lunar New Year! Drop in to work on collaborative sculptures to celebrate the Year of the Pig. The project will be displayed in the Garden for QBG’s Lunar New Year Celebration on Saturday, February 9 and for the remainder of February.

Please note: this family-friendly activity involves papier maché and paint. Drop-in.

Event Tip: Spend the day at the Garden!
On each Saturday of this Community Art Project, we are hosting Winter Family Programs like Plants we Eat!, Bugging Out!, Winter Trees, and Tabletop Gardening! from 11 a.m. to noon. ($12 per child, $40 for all four sessions). Also, check out QBG’s Art in the Garden exhibition, “Organic Emergence,” at the Visitor & Administration Building Gallery. Free.
