Arts, Culture & Fun: Jazz Foundation with Arthur Green

Thursday, October 25, 2018

6:30 p.m.8:00 p.m.

Saxophonist Arthur Green has a deep, soulful tone. With roots in Virginia and then playing trumpet in the Navy Band, he has come into his own in New York City under the tutelage of King Curtis, Rodney Kendricks, and Barry Harris. In high demand for cover gigs, due to his searing tributes to Motown's Junior Walker, Arthur leads his own band The Green Machine, featuring an appealing blend of jazz, funk, blues and R&B that is all his own.

Let us know you're joining us! Please RSVP on Eventbrite at RSVP at jazzseries25.eventbrite.com.

Presented by the Jazz Foundation of America, with partial support from the National Endowment for the Arts, New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the City Council.
