Join the Urban Park Rangers for Nature's Workshop series. Each program in this series explores its topic in depth and allows you to develop a skill, participate in a hands-on project, and indulge your curiosity.
Learn about the age-old culinary art of fermentation. From pickles, to sauerkraut, to drinks like kombucha and wine, fermentation has yielded healthy and delicious foodstuffs for thousands of years. At this workshop, we’ll discuss the basics of fermenting as well as lead hands-on activities designed to introduce participants to this beneficial microbiological process.
