Eye on Nature: Artists Explore the World of Plants and Animals

This event repeats every week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 9/1/2018 and 10/27/2018.

Please note: on Saturdays, this exhibit is on view from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Four artists offer illustrated work in a variety of media including colored pencil, digital, and printmaking. The artists use botanical and natural science methods, where the subjects are rendered to accurately describe the species in an artistic manner.

The work is both fine art and science based.

Curated by Donna Miskend. Participating artists: Jennifer Deutscher, Maria Giuliani, Donna Miskend, Julia Ruth, with guest speaker Stephen Paul DeVillo, author of The Bronx River in History and Folklore.
