Please note: This event has already taken place. Please use the Search options on the right to find upcoming events.

Facilitated by Liane Newton, NYCbeekeeping.org; and GreenThumb

We'll discuss what we do as good stewards to help our bees get through the winter. We are getting near the time when we put the bees to bed and beekeepers go on vacation! We will look back at what we have done, discuss choices to make now, and set expectations for the winter and for the 2019 season.

Members of registered GreenThumb community gardens who have attended all three beekeeping workshops (parts 1 and 2 were in the spring and summer) will receive a small beekeeping book and are eligible to apply for early admission to the nycbeekeeping.org 2019 Saturday Series Training Program!

Please RSVP online.
