Hands On History: Make Your Own Crazy Quilt Square
Saturday, October 6, 2018
1:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m.
A popular pastime 200 years ago, crazy quilts were made from spare scraps of fabric and sewn with fancy stitches, sometimes for fun and sometimes to teach children to sew. Design your own crazy quilt square at King Manor, then visit the rest of the museum and learn about Rufus King - Founding Father and early voice in the anti-slavery movement.
Recommended for ages 3 and up, adults also welcome!
