Planting Garlic and Cover Crops
Tuesday, October 2, 2018
5:30 p.m.–7:00 p.m.
Facilitated by GreenThumb and Grow to Learn
Get your raised beds ready for winter by planting out a cover crop. Cover crops can protect soil from erosion, provide food for soil microbes, and help hold nutrients in the soil. Now is also the time to plant garlic, a garden favorite! We'll cover different varieties and tips for planting this beloved crop.
Registered GreenThumb community gardeners and Grow to Learn school gardeners will be eligible to receive seed garlic and cover crop seeds, while supplies last!
Please RSVP online.
