Join NYC Parks and the New York City Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment for a free film!

Black youth stereotypes are turned upside down in the the feature documentary film Purple Dreams. A two and a half year journey serves as an inspirational window into the lives of inner-city, at-risk students who succeed at their passion while embracing the transformative power of their arts education.

Know Before You Go
You should arrive before 6:00 p.m. to get your spot. Feel free to bring a blanket to sit on. Bottled waters are OK, but no glass. Reservations are not taken, so space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. All are welcome!
