World's Fair History Weekday Walk
Tuesday, September 25, 2018
10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Hundreds of visitors come to our World's Fair History Walking Tours on the second Sunday of each month through October; on Tuesday, September 25, we will host a weekday walk!
Please join us for a leaisurely, guided walk with park docents to learn about a dozen of the 40 remaining 1939-40 and 1964-65 World's Fair sites, structures, and monuments in our park. The walk includes stops at the well-known Unisphere, New York State Pavilion, and Rocket Thrower, as well as the lesser-known Westinghouse Time Capsules, 2,000-year-old Whispering Column of Jerash, and more!
This event is free. No registration necessary.
Meet at the green NYC Parks tent at the Unisphere.
