Celebrate the first day of fall! Autumn is here, and it’s nearly time to put the garden to sleep for the season. Join QBG Farm & Compost staff to learn how to care for your soil during fall and winter. Presented by NYC Compost Project Hosted by Queens Botanical Garden.

We’ll discuss soil testing, cover crops, mulch, and compost application as well as season extension tips. 

Registration is required.

Event Tip: Spend the day at the Garden! This event takes place on Art in the Garden Day, which also includes a Flower Press Workshop (registration required), art viewing and making with The Art Bus Project.
