Join CIVITAS, Partnerships for Parks, The Nature Conservancy, and New York Restoration Project as we celebrate International Coastal Cleanup Day on September 15th at the Harlem River Greenway, a wonderful waterfront park right in our backyard.

International Coastal Cleanup Day is the world’s largest single-day volunteer effort to remove trash and debris from beaches, coastal parks and waterfronts to help keep our waterways clean for both people and nature. Since its founding 33 years ago, more than 12 million volunteers have banded together to remove more than 220 million pounds of trash.

This is your chance connect with nature right here in New York City, meet new people, and join in with hundreds of thousands of volunteers worldwide.
