This event repeats every day between 9/10/2018 and 9/12/2018.

Please note: This event has already taken place. Please use the Search options on the right to find upcoming events.

Join us with NY/NJ Baykeeper and the Bronx River oyster reef to begin the symmer oyster monitoring season!

Please be on time. Each monitoring session lasts approximately 3.5-4 hours, depending on tide. We will be entering the water and wading out to the reef (you will put on chest waders) to perform hands-on monitoring and data collection.

Know Before You Go
Bring socks (for the waders), dress in weather appropriate clothing, bring a bottle of water and sunscreen/hat, and prepare to get muddy! It’s a lot of fun, and you’ll meet new people who are looking to achieve the same goals as you.
