Friends of North Pacific Playground and Garden invite you to join us for FREE Children's gardening workshops: 

Critters of the Garden

Sunday, September 9, 2018 | 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Children will meet garden critters such as worms, snails, spiders, and stick insects. Children will learn about their habitat and have the opportunity to plant a mosquito-repellent seedling to take home.

This workshop is suggested for children aged 5-7

About the Instructor
Eman Rashid is the founder of Brooklyn Seeds, which offers gardening programs in a dozen New York schools. She teaches kids about organic and community gardening as well as the natural world around them.

Cost
The workshops are FREE, but registration is required. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver.
