Theater for the New City is coming to Washington Square Park!
As part of their Street Theater program, the Pulitzer Prize-winning community cultural center is presenting “SHAME! Or The Doomsday Machine,” written and directed by Theater for the New City co-founder, artistic director and OBIE award-winning actress, Crystal Field.

The show follows a high school teachers quest for truth, embarking on a fantastical journey exploring the shameful state of corrupt politics, capitalism, racism, and gun violence through slapstick humor and song.
