Bryant Park Picnics: New York City Opera Performs 'La traviata'
Tuesday, August 28, 2018
6:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.
New York City Opera presents Verdi's La traviata, one of the most beloved operas of all time, to the Bryant Park stage. Grab a blanket (and a tissue) and find the perfect spot to enjoy a one-hour adaptation of Verdi’s classic that inspired Moulin Rouge, with instantly recognizable tunes famously featured in Pretty Woman.
This event is part of the Bryant Park Picnics series. Each Picnics evening is free to the public with no dress code, no tickets, and no lines. Over 200 blankets are free to borrow so audience members can spread out and relax while enjoying the performance. Beer and wine are available for purchase, along with food from Hester Street Fair.
