Brooklyn Chess Festival

Join us to learn how to play chess, meet and play with a chess Grand Master, and much more!

All are welcome to come sharpen their chess skills through pick-up chess games, simul-play, learn to play chess clinics, a Blitz Tournament, and other board games!

This event is FREE and open to the public. Chess boards will be provided.

Registration
Registration is required online to participate in the following activities:

USCF Rated Kids Chess Tournament 
Play in the "Back To School" United States Chess Federation Kids Chess Tournament. Multiple sections. Trophies and medals for players! Check in at 10:00 a.m.. Tournament starts at 10:30 a.m. sharp!

30 Person Match vs. GM Irina Krush
Play the seven-time United States Women's Chess Champion Grandmaster Irina Krush! She will take on 30 challengers at the same time! Starts at 2:00 p.m. sharp!

Learn to Play Chess Clinics
Learn Chess Master strategy and secret! Sit in on the hourly chess lectures taking place all day from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.. Topics will vary for players of all skill levels and experience. Everyone is welcome!
