Raise a glass to freedom! Mark the 242nd anniversary of the Battle of Brooklyn by exploring the tastes of Revolutionary-era America. Food and drinks historian and raconteur Tonya Hopkins will lead a rum talk and tasting, along with Brooklyn based cider makers Joy Doumis and Jeremy Hammond, who will discuss how this popular beverage was made and how they make their own brew in the same spirit of the 18th century using apples gathered from Green-Wood.

Music by Charming Disaster.
