Many of the beautiful plants that we grow in the garden can also be used to color yarn and cloth. Orange cosmos makes vibrant golds. Marigolds make yellow. Purple basil makes olive green. And that’s just the beginning! This workshop will cover how to plan a dye plant garden, and you will have an opportunity to dye your own yarn.
Facilitated by Mark Leger, GreenThumb community gardener at Phoenix Community Garden, East New York Farms, and GreenThumb.
