Bring a blanket, picnic food, and dancing shoes for this fun event! Presented by the Central Park Conservancy with Jazzmobile, Great Jazz on the Great Hill features live music and swing dancing in a beautiful setting.

Performances by:

Jimmy Heath
The legendary Jimmy Heath brings his swinging 16-piece big band to the stage. A multi-Grammy nominated band leader, composer, saxophonist, and flutist, he has performed with Miles Davis, Ray Charles, Dizzy Gillespie, and dozens of other Jazz greats over his 70-year career.

Alyson Williams
Award-winning vocalist and vocal coach Alyson Williams has filled the airwaves with her versatile singing styles: R&B, Blues, and Jazz. As an accomplished recording artist and concert performer, she has toured nationally and internationally wowing audiences in small clubs, concert halls, and at festivals.

Winard Harper & Friends 
Introducing Gabrielle Garo and Kameelah Harper
Winard Harper and his band always offer up an exuberant, swing-savvy, world-flavored journey into Jazz. He has an incredible ear for identifying emerging talent, and will introduce two young performers, flutist and saxophonist Gabrielle Garo and vocalist Kameelah Harper.
