ConEdison Family Science Nights: Hope it Floats!

Wednesday, July 18, 2018

6:30 p.m.8:30 p.m.

Please note: This event has already taken place. Please use the Search options on the right to find upcoming events.

Families are invited to gather to explore a range of science topics and activities. A few short, self-guided activities will start families thinking together, followed by a full group activity. Families with children ages 8-10 years old are welcome to register for these events.

It's summertime, and floating is fine! Explore bouyancy and density with lava lamps and a Cartesian diver; then build boats from various materials to participate in a Greenbelt regatta! Please bring or wear water shoes and clothing suitable for an occasional splash. For children 8 - 10 years.

This monthly series is generously funded by Con Edison, through August 2018.
