Friends of North Pacific Playground and Garden invite you to join us for FREE Children's gardening workshops:
 
Exploring the Plants and Insects of North Pacific Garden
Sunday, July 1, 2018 

10AM– 11AM
Children will explore the wonders of the garden by touching, smelling and sampling the vegetation. During their visit they will have a chance to examine plants and insects under a magnifying glass, draw from nature and read a story. Each child will also get to plant a seedling to take home.

This workshop is suggested for children aged 3 - 5.

About the Instructor
Eman Rashid is the founder of Brooklyn Seeds, which offers gardening programs in a dozen New York schools. She teaches kids about organic and community gardening as well as the natural world around them.

Cost
The workshops are FREE, but registration is required. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver.
