Arts, Culture & Fun: Jazz with the Phil Young Experience

In partnership with the Jazz Foundation of America.  Phil Young, drummer, and leader of "the Harlem Hip" - as recently seen in The New Yorker. A well-loved figure in the uptown community, Phil Young has toured with legendary blues and R. & B. singer Bobby (Blue) Bland and has an extensive music career drumming for such greats as George Benson and Dizzy Gillespie.

Presented by the Jazz Foundation of America, with partial support from the National Endowment for the Arts, New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the City Council.
