The 25th annual Harlem Meer Performance Festival brings the best local talent to Central Park! Enjoy a variety of performances featuring multi-cultural music and dance, family-friendly entertainment, and more while admiring the lakeside views.

Annabella Gonzalez Dance Theater, a critically-acclaimed modern dance company with a sly Latin flavor, is delighted to present “Lively Moods”. Dances range from “Tengo Un Amor” (I Have a Love), with powerful Mexican songs by Lucha Reyes, to “Love Mask”, a comedy to music of Mozart with surprise audience participation.

Featured are three new dances: “Caballeros”, danced by Marcos de Jesus with his original tunes and lyrics, accompanied by drummer Wilson Antigua; “New Born”, created and performed by Nu-Lu Danza directors Esteban Arana and Leticia Pliego together with Jamy Hsu; and “Inner Pulse”, a vibrant quintet featuring a gong-accented score by acclaimed neo-classical composer Max Lifchitz.

All ages are welcome.

Check out the full performance line-up.
