Join NYC Pride and friends at the The March, the biggest Pride celebration in the world! This year's theme is Defiantly Different.
"The March is a celebration of the LGBTQ community. The first March was held in 1970 and has since become an annual civil rights demonstration. Over the years, its purpose has broadened to include recognition of the fight against AIDS and to remember those we have lost to illness, violence and neglect." - NYC Pride
This year's grand marshals include:
- Billie Jean King
- Lambda Legal
- Tyler Ford
- Kenita Placide
Viewing The March is free and open to the public. No tickets necessary.
Pride March Route
The March kicks off at noon from 16th Street and 7th Avenue, heads south on 7th Avenue to Christopher Street, then east to Fifth Avenue; the parade then heads north on Fifth Avenue to 29th Street where the march ends. View the parade route
