Dancing with Nkumu Katalay is a must! He has been called the king of rumba soukous music. Born in the capital city Kinshasa of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Nkumu blends the music of his homeland with contemporary sounds from the Americas to create a rhythmic beat.

The 25th annual Harlem Meer Performance Festival brings the best local talent to Central Park! Enjoy a variety of performances featuring multi-cultural music and dance, family-friendly entertainment, and more while admiring the lakeside views.
All ages are welcome.
