Our Discovery Hike is the ultimate way to enjoy the outdoors and have fun. Our Urban Park Ranger hiking guides will introduce you to the hidden gems of New York City

Although ants are frustrating when they get into your home or when you’re having a picnic, ants do help the environment. They are social insects, which means they live in large colonies or groups. Depending on the species, ant colonies can consist of millions of ants.

Join the Urban Park Rangers on our discovery hike and find out some interesting facts about these small insects.
