Liane Newton, NYC Beekeeping; and GreenThumb

Community garden beekeepers and those interested in learning to keep bees are invited to join us for an early summer hive-check. We'll open a hive and examine the colony. We will explain where we are in the season and discuss what to expect for the rest of the summer.

This session is appropriate for newcomers as well as those keeping bees already. This workshop is Part 2 in a 3-part series; Part 1 was in the spring, and Part 3 will be this fall. Protective gear will be provided to the registered attendees, and attendees will be required to sign waivers.

Pre-registration required here. Limited to 10 individuals.
