Outdoor Movie Night at Randall's Island Park: Ferris Bueller's Day Off

Saturday, June 9, 2018

8:40 p.m.10:40 p.m.

This 1986 classic film tells the story of Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick), a high school student who fakes sickness to skip school. He brings along his girlfriend Sloane Peterson (Mia Sara) and best friend Cameron Frye (Alan Ruck) on a one-day adventure through the streets of Chicago. Close on his every move is his sister Jeanie (Jennifer Grey) and high school principal Rooney (Jeffrey Jones) who doesn’t believe that he is home sick.

Whether you are watching this 80s film again or seeing it for the first time, come out and enjoy the fun because as Ferris says: Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it.”
