Two hundred years ago, an enslaved man named Dave working as a potter inscribed poems in his finished clay pots. History remembers him for his skill as both potter and poet; come listen to his story and make your own pot to take home. Then visit the rest of the museum and learn about Rufus King - Founding Father and early voice in the anti-slavery movement.
Recommended for ages 3 and up, adults also welcome!
