Join the NYC Parks Stewardship Team's monthly Green Neighborhood event!  This May, we will be on the leafy streets of Bayside, Queens to talk about the unsung heroes that clean, shade, and enliven our public spaces: trees!

Start the morning with a Tree Identification walk around the neighborhood, followed by a street-tree care workshop, where you’ll learn the basics of keeping trees healthy and vibrant.

Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants, and clothing that can get dirty. Please bring your own water bottle to this event.

Please note: Space is limited and registration is required. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone.
