Greenhouse Basics: Starting Seeds

Spring into the gardening season with a workshop on starting seeds!

Learn about propagation techniques and how to make use of a greenhouse to extend your growing season. If you don’t have a greenhouse, you’ll learn how to construct a simple cold-frame or hoop house. Free seed-starting kits! Limit one per garden.

This workshop is offered as part of the Community Parks Initiative (CPI), a collaboration with Friends of the High Line and NYC Parks GreenThumb. Friends of the High Line is supporting 12 GreenThumb gardens in the Melrose area of the South Bronx through CPI.
