Celebrate Earth Day at Gertrude Ederle Recreation Center and Playground.

10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Earth Day themed games and activities featuring the NYC Parks Playmobile. Activity held outdoors.

11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Build a Bird with Urban Park Ranger Jill. We will learn about birds while building one together. What kind of feathers does it have? What color are its eggs? Does it sing, drum or hoot? Activity held indoors.

1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Inner Animal Obstacle Course. Are you as fast as a Cheetah? Strong as an Ox? Smart as a Fox? Prove it as you navigate through our children’s obstacle course set up in the park. Activity held outdoors.

In case of rain all activities will be held indoors.
