Art Workshop Series Begins: Plumage to Quill: Studies and Renderings of Birds in the Landscape

Draw inspiration from a private collection of mounted birds, and from photographs, poetry and outdoor observation, to create avian portraits with Wave Hill as the setting.

Sessions include demo lessons, plein-air drawing and critiques with Wennie Huang, member of the American Museum of Natural History’s Animal Drawing Program. A nature walk with birding expert Gabriel Willow is included. Basic hardware materials included; a supply list will be provided.

This four-session series continues April 19, 26 and May 3.
